Five Acre Farm Greenhouses (FAF Growers) is an independent grower, offering a wide variety of breeders' genetics. So customers can get a wide variety of products in one place. There is no minimum order for both plugs and cuttings, so if a customer wants one flat, they can order one flat. All customers are called when their UPS/Fedex orders are shipped so they can plan accordingly. This is very important to customers in cold winter areas.

Bill Randall purchased Five Acre Farm in 1979 as a vegetable farm and farm stand. Through the years Five Acre Farm began growing more and more plant material for their retail store. In the mid 80's FAF started producing plugs for their own use and began wholesaling finished product on a small level, then by the late 80's they were wholesaling plugs as well. In the mid 90's FAF started getting more into rooted cuttings and finished perennials for wholesale. Over the years the operation has expanded from a few wooden structure greenhouses to over 3 acres of modern greenhouses. Production averages 25,000 flats of annual plugs, 15,000 flats of rooted liners, 100,000 quarts and 25,000 gallons of perennials each year. An additional 7 acres of outdoor production is used for fall crops of mums, asters and cabbage and kale. Five Acre Farm now about 85% wholesale and offers a full line of annual plugs and rooted liners as well as prefinished annual pots and baskets.
