Minimum Order and Specifications:
- For shipping purposes, boxes generally hold 3-4 trays of grasses or perennials. Note that a handling fee of $10.00 will be charged on orders less than a full box (less than 4 trays). Please order plants in the quantities, as outlined below:
- Grasses are supplied as 18, 32 or 50 plugs per tray. Minimum order per variety is one tray.
Perennials:
- Perennials are supplied as 18, 32, 50 or 72 plugs per tray. Minimum order per variety is one tray.
Unrooted Cuttings:
- 500 cuttings per variety.
Ordering:
- Orders should be received by Wednesday for shipping the following week.
- 25+ trays 3% 50+ trays 5% 100+ trays 7%
- Custom orders are welcomed.
- TIPPER TIE-NET is used to secure plugs in trays. For grass/perennial liners, the boxing charge is $4.00/box. For URC, insulated boxing charges are $20.00/box. Shipping carriers include Federal Express or a common truck carrier. Air freight is also available. Customer Pick-Up at the Nursery is welcomed.
Delivery:
- Grower Truck deliveries in MD, PA, and NJ, as well as scheduled trips to the northeast (CT, RI, MA, and NY) and Ohio. A minimum order of 75 trays is required for local deliveries to MD, PA and NJ. At least 200 trays for other states (although this number is flexible if the truck will be in your area - call to inquire). Costs for delivery range from $1.00 - 3.00 per tray, depending on destination mileage and order volume.
